These soul asylums are ready to recharge you for the new season ahead.
Reviving treatments await at Ciel Spa and K’Alma Spa.
1. Ciel Spa
Although Ciel Spa at Hyde Midtown Miami has been enjoyed by the tower’s residents for years, the venue recently opened to the public, making its personal training, private yoga, guided meditations during full moon nights and rooftop massages available to all in the city. Signature treatments here include the Urban Therapy Experience ($185 for 80 minutes), which uses essential oils in a blend of massage, reflexology and stretching to release energy blockages; the Hyde Signature Massage ($185 for 80 minutes), a full-body rubdown with a fruit seed scrub and aromatic mask; and the Hyde Organic Facial ($105 for 50 minutes), an all-natural facial that targets problems such as dehydration, acne and skin sensitivity. 3401 NE First Ave., Miami, 786.229.4919, ext. 109, sbe.com
2. K’Alma Spa
As the first of its kind in the country, K’Alma (a take on the Spanish word for calm) is also the first to incorporate authentic Peruvian crystal color therapies. Visitors will notice this as they walk to their treatment rooms down a hallway adorned with seven crystal sculptures representing each of the seven chakras. At all times the spa has two shamans on staff, as well as massage therapists, estheticians and other traditional spa staff. As far as signature treatments go, there’s the Maras Salt Healer ($145 for 45 minutes), a polishing scrub with natural pink salt harvested from ancient pools in the Incan town of Maras in Peru, and the Oro 24K Facial ($199 for 70 minutes), which includes a 24K gold collagen mask to boost rejuvenation at a cellular level.
