Marked by Hollywood Regency-style chandeliers, golden banana leaf accents and a jungle-print carpet, Diptyque makes scent a most dramatic affair. The store offers the full assortment of the brand’s fragrances, including some 30-plus home collections. Intoxicating scents like tuberose, blackcurrant and sandalwood come from bottles and candles, as well as from brooches, bracelets and satin patches that go behind the ear or on the wrist. There was a time when Le Labo was exclusively a cult favorite. Those days are gone. Success and popularity have not harmed the brand in any way, however. In fact, it’s emboldened it to create new aromas that appeal to various senses. At the brand’s newish boutique in Bal Harbour Shops, those lablike bottles denote its edgy aesthetic. Shoppers will find all of Le Labo’s offerings, including the popular smoky Santal 26 candle. Also of note is Tabac 28, which was inspired by Miami and features notes of tobacco and cedarwood that capture the sexy and mysterious spirit of our city. 4. Osme Perfumery
This Wynwood perfumery and apothecary sells hundreds of fragrances from leading perfumers worldwide, but there is nothing quite as intimate and personal as concocting one’s very own scent, which is one of the venue’s specialties and the ultimate indulgence.
