BY Rebecca Wallwork | May 3, 2018 | Feature Features

Miami's restaurants are rolling out the red carpet for mom on her special day. Here are five brunches that will treat her right.
Live music sets the tone at Jaya's Mother's Day brunch.

Faena Feast
Brunch is not just a meal, but more like a social event at Los Fuegos, Francis Mallmann’s Argentine restaurant at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach. The Mother’s Day Sunday Asado Brunch features a multi-course feast and unlimited Bellinis and mimosas to encourage lingering for quality family time. Bonus: All mothers will receive a $25 gift certificate towards any Tierra Santa Healing House yoga class at the hotel. May 13, 12–4PM, $115 for adults, $45 for children (ages 5 to 12), 3201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 786.655.5600

A Jazzy Choice

The weekly brunch at Jaya at The Setai is one of the best in the city, making it a slam dunk selection for Mother’s Day. Complete with live jazz and unlimited champagne and Bloody Marys, the lavish buffet spread features a modern Asian twist with rotisserie and seafood stations, as well as dedicated Indian and Asian selections such as pad thai goong sod, gyoza and dumplings. The dessert lineup is next level and the setting in The Setai’s breezy courtyard a dream. May 13, 11AM–3PM, $125 for adults $65 for children, 2001 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 855.923.7899

Market Fresh
Treat Mama to a slice of la dolce vita at the sparkling new La Centrale at Brickell City Centre. Reservations for the venue's Mother’s Day Brunch are available at three of La Centrale’s restaurants: Carne, Pesce and Stagionale, and you’ll be spoiled for choice with a hot carving station and additional stations for fish, antipasti, pasta, uovo, and of course dolcezze. Free-flowing prosecco and mimosas for $20 per person are sure to keep spirits high. May 13, 11:30AM–5:00PM, $75 for adults, $35 for children 10 and under, 701 S. Miami Ave., Miami, 305.720.2401

Key Ingredients

An oceanfront setting and Florida-fresh seafood put Lightkeepers at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne ahead of the pack when it comes to making an impression on Mom. The Mother’s Day Brunch menu includes a raw bar, ready-to-make omelet and waffle stations, and other breakfast favorites. Sweets include hazelnut pecan shortbread and passion-fruit crème brulee. The restaurant also lights the way on beverages, with bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Marys, sangrias, house draft beer and punch. May 13, 12:30–3PM, $129 for adults, $45 for children, 455 Grand Bay Drive, Key Biscayne, 305.365.4156

Fish Finesse

One of the hottest spots in Miami right now, Stiltsville Fish Bar is going all in on Mother’s Day, with a nine-course brunch fit for a queen. (Yes, that’s right: nine.) Power duo chefs Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth have hand-picked the prix-fixe Mother’s Day menu, with highlights that include Stiltsville staples Green Eggs & Ham (green deviled eggs with crispy country ham), shrimp and grits and sweet corn spoon bread. Even the eggs Benedict are dressed to impress, with a choice of crab cake, pork belly bacon or butter poached lobster. May 13, 11:30AM–4:00PM, $68 for adults, $34 for children, 1787 Purdy Ave., Miami Beach, 786.353.0477
