There's nothing like a refreshing cocktail to get us through the dog days of summer. Here are five that deserve your attention.

Cold Comfort
Leave those syrup-filled daiquiris to the tourists on Ocean Drive and head to DÔA for a refined frozen treat. Tropical Escape
At Zuma, a sip of the Zuma Mai Tai ($14) will make you feel as if you’ve just landed on a tropical paradise. The bartenders at the Asian eatery mix this Polynesian-inspired cocktail with the restaurant’s own house-made rum grog, plum wine, fresh pineapple juice, blood orange and a squeeze of lime, and top it with a spritz of almond essence. If an Italian getaway is not part of your summer plans, the Venice Through Miami ($19) at Le Sirenuse Champagne Bar is the next best thing.
