The workday menu at restaurateur Michael Schwartz’s Amara at Paraiso begins with yuca cheese puffs, smoked fish dip or ceviche, followed by a choice of grilled market fish, hearty masa dumplings in vegetarian broth or the Concha Especial sandwich. The meal ends with dulce flan or chocolate tart. Cost is $28. A la carte lunch is also available. 3101 NE Seventh Ave., Miami 305.702.5528

Executive chef Thomas Stewart’s Mediterranean three-course $29 menu (offered daily) at Gianni’s at The Versace Mansion was designed to honor Gianni Versace’s dining palate with a choice of appetizer including Spanish octopus, Gianni’s salad or tuna tartare and a choice of entree between mushroom risotto, spaghetti alla chitarra, free-range chicken or grilled dorade. We already loved GK Bistronomie, but now there’s even more reasons to do so. The restaurant has just launched a weekday power lunch for $14 that includes a choice of soup or house salad, one entree and one dessert or coffee. Hump day just got more bearable. LaMuse Cafe at Avant Gallery just launched a new executive lunch for $25 per person available on Wednesdays. The prix-fix menu includes an appetizer choice of mushroom pate or beets terrine; main options such as lobster cob, shrimp po’boy, turkey onion confit sub, beef stroganoff crepe roll, smoked duck salad or the meatless burger; and desserts such as vanilla pastry cream with fresh berries or chocolate brownie cake. Eastern Flair
Novikov Miami, Downtown’s Chinese-Japanese eatery, is offering a Monday-through-Friday $23 business lunch meant to entice the financial types in the area to leave their offices. Appetizer options include saffron sweet corn dumplings, yuzu goma salad or salmon avocado roll. Entree selections feature chirashi donburi, Szechuan salmon, tofu with seasonal vegetables or mango cashew chicken. Dessert can be added for an additional $6. 300 S.
