5 New Shops to Check Out!

BY Germaine Benson | July 25, 2016 | Feature Features

From French fashion at a discount to sugar treats galore, here's a dose of retail therapy for the long days of summer ahead.
Sugarfina's candy selection has both children and adults covered.

1. Joy to the World!
From California with love: Joie has opened its first Florida store at the Shops at Merrick Park and the boho chic offerings are impossible to resist. On the racks are essentials like feminine dresses, peasant blouses and all sorts of separates to get you through summer as calm, cool and collected as possible. 320 San Lorenzo Ave., Coral Gables, 786.362.8734

2. Corner Cart
First, a store on Lincoln Road. Then came a shop-within-shop at Chrome Hearts in the Design District. Now Ladurée has presence at Bal Harbour Shops with a carriage cart (we get the feeling a store is on the way, but until then this will have to do). The macaron offerings are the ones you know and love. Our recommendations? Rose petal and green apple. 9700 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour

3. Minimal Moxie
Only three months into its debut, Mrkt Deux has already become a Design District favorite. The on-point boutique boasts a wide inventory of fashion-forward pieces for men and women from brands such as Acne Studios, J.W. Anderson, Y-3 and many others. 3824 NE Second Ave., Miami, 305.603.9682

4. All My Saints
When a coveted French fashion house like Saint Laurent opens an outlet, a visit is a must! The new shop offers the brand’s garments, shoes and accessories for both men and women at 30 to 70 percent off. Sawgrass, here we come! The Colonnade Shops at Sawgrass Mills Mall, 1840 Sawgrass Mills Circle, Sunrise, 954.945.3300

5. Candy Lane
Whether you’re in the mood for gummy bears made with Dom Pérignon or maple bourbon caramels spiked with Maker’s Mark, Sugarfina has 21-and-over sweet-tooth cravings covered. As the luxury candy store’s first Florida location, the Aventura Mall outpost offers the company’s top selling sweets, all of which are beautifully presented and wrapped. 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, 786.332.5686
