Luxe inventories await shoppers at these five new boutiques.
Orlebar Brown now has locations in Brickell City Centre, Bal Harbour Shops and The Setai.

Resort Bulletin

Known for its tailored trunks, Orlebar Brown is betting big on Miami. In addition to its Brickell City Centre store, the British men’s and boys’ resortwear brand has expanded in a major way with a boutique at the Setai hotel in Miami Beach and a flagship at Bal Harbour Shops. “Ever since I tested samples on South Beach, it has been a dream to have a number of stores in Florida,” says founder Adam Brown. “It fits perfectly into our strategy of opening stores in iconic resort locations.” Expected to be hot sellers at both locales as we head into winter are terry polo shirts and the Bulldog swim shorts with the Seas the Day photographic print. Buyers can also customize trunks with personal images through the brand’s Design Your Own service. House of Style

For the new Balmain boutique at Bal Harbour Shops, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing tapped three young architects to deliver a design concept inspired by the City of Light’s grand hôtels particuliers and their classic design traits, including chandeliers and parquet floors. Here shoppers wander through dedicated sections to discover the brand’s various collections as if they were touring a real home from boudoir to garden. Along the way they’ll encounter sleek, long-sleeved minidresses in a variety of materials, Izabel boots in leather with feather accents that are reminiscent of a mohawk, doubled-breasted wool blazers with oversized embossed buttons and Baby Box bags in holographic calfskin leather. In other words: French flair for modern times. 9700 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour, 305.397.8152

Those Little Extras

Known for its logo-laced leather accessories, German brand MCM has unveiled a new boutique at Aventura Mall with 1,700 square feet stocked with ready-to-wear, bags, wallets, luggage and shoes for men and women. Among the standouts is the Stark belt bag in cognac-colored, monogrammed coated canvas with 24K gold-plated hardware (an elegant take on the fanny pack) and the Ottomar messenger bag, which is small enough to wear cross body. A studded backpack in soft pink reveals the brand’s daring whimsy. Bold print scarves and animal charms round out the inventory. 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura, 305.414.0057
