BY Richard Latter | December 18, 2017 | Feature

For a Dec. 31 to remember, count down the minutes to 2018 at any of these five parties.
Wall at the W South Beach has New Year's Eve covered.

Spanish Accent
Welcome the New Year with the sublime sounds of flamenco at Faena Miami Beach’s ARRABAL! A Night of Desire. At the celebration guests will gather poolside by Damien Hirst’s gilded mammoth for a presentation of pop-flamenco performances sure to transport them to Andalucia. When the clock strikes midnight, the party moves to the Saxony Bar. 9PM, 3201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.534.8800

It Takes Two
You can always count on the Fontainebleau for a New Year’s Eve to remember. This year’s concert is no different. Demi Lovato and KYGO will take the stage to perform hits from their respective albums. All tickets include premium bar access until 12AM. 9PM, general admission tickets $225, tables $4,000-$40,000, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.674.4680

Homegrown Talent
Pitbull’s Worldwide New Year’s Eve VIP Food & Wine Party at Bayfront Park has all the party bases covered. The celebration will feature custom cocktails from top bartender Teddy Collins and various food stations from some of the city’s best restaurants. 8PM, $295-$395, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami

The Spin
Over in the South of Fifth neighborhood, the powers that be at Story have tapped DJ Alesso for a party night to remember. As hits like “Heroes” and “Falling” play, guests will enjoy premium open bars or table service until sunrise. 9PM, general admission $200, tables $4,000-$20,000, 136 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.479.4426

Double The Pleasure
Never one to disappoint, W South Beach is offering two major events to welcome 2018. At the WET Pool, Australian DJ duo Nervo will spin late into the night. Over at Wall, things are more formal with the Black Tie Extravaganza hosted by Instagram darling Gianluca Vacchi. Expect a rather cinematic party complete with Champagne parades and festive decorations. 10PM, $200-$15,000, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.938.3000
