BY Richard Latter | November 13, 2017 | Feature Features

Home gatherings are overrated. Check out what's on the Thanksgiving menu at these five restaurants.
Jaya at The Setai is ready to welcome diners this Thanksgiving.

Untraditional Twists
Jaya at The Setai Miami Beach has bountiful Thanksgiving offerings this year and those include classic turkey and ham options, as well as roasted honey-glazed lamb leg. But, you will also notice that the chef has added some untraditional Eastern twists to the holiday menu, which includes Indonesian beef rendang and Indian lamb vindaloo. $125 for adults, $63 for children, 11AM-4PM, 2001 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 855.923.7899

Top Turkey
Take note: Lightkeepers is hosting a lavish Thanksgiving Day Feast that includes bottomless Prosecco, mimosas and bloody Marys. For diners looking for something with a little more culinary oomph, there’s the Oops! We Burnt the Turkey station, which puts a Chinese twist on the holiday. For the little ones? Favorites like macaroni and cheese and waffle fries at the Kids Corner. Save room for dessert. 12:30-8PM, $145 for adults, $49 for children, The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, 455 Grand Bay Drive, Key Biscayne, 305.365.4156

Dinner In Private
Looking to impress friends and family? Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald is urging guests to reserve the Wine Vault at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and treat up to 14 of their nearest and dearest to a bespoke traditional four-course dinner complete with a private Champagne sabering. Now that’s something to be thankful about. There is an eight-guest minimum to book. $150 per person, 9703 Collins Ave., 305.993.0700

Ocean Harvest
Leave it to Stiltsville Fish Bar to offer an ocean-inspired three-course Thanksgiving. Feast highlights include a choice of Atlantic sea salt-roasted whole fish and crusted fried turkey with bay leaf, citrus and the eatery’s infamous hot sauce. Chef Jeff McInnis is adding some tasty new sides that include a tobacco-smoked plantain mofongo stuffing, cornbread spoon bread, whipped sweet potatoes with black pepper marshmallow and cranberry smash. Seatings at 12PM, 2PM, 4PM and 6PM, 1787 Purdy Ave., Miami Beach, 786.353.0477

Guilt-free Gluttony
At Fort Lauderdale’s newest oceanfront eatery, Terra Marre, Executive Chef Johan Svensson is offering a Thanksgiving menu that will have you begging for seconds. Sure favorites include butternut squash soup and balsamic and pomegranate-glazed roasted turkey. Dessert options include pecan pie with whipped cream and fresh berries or Nutella chocolate mousse. $75 per person, 12-9PM, Conrad Fort Lauderdale, 551 N.
