The Acura x Genius: Precision Crafted Performances artist showcase series arrived in Miami on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 to a packed, youthful crowd and lots of fanfare (no doubt accented by the colorful Acura luxury vehicles on display). The event, MC-ed by Genius's head of artist relations Rob Markman and hosted at Gramps in Wynwood, featured special performances by co-headliners Eladio Carrión and Mariah, plus an opening DJ set by Bodega Flee. The Miami edition of Precision Crafted Performances followed the showcase series's exciting activations in Los Angeles and Brooklyn. For the live showcase, Music IQ—the real-time search trends of the Genius superfan community—was used to curate the two emerging (and Miami-based) artists who took the stage. The event marked Genius's first major activation in Miami. By the looks of it, it will definitely not be its last.
