In-the-know hostesses, brides-to-be and social types are familiar with the work of floral artist Kenneth Stubbs. The man is known for manipulating roses, peonies, orchids, tulips and hydrangeas into installations that demand attention for clients that range from Martha Stewart to Acqua di Parma. Now he’s opened shop in the Design District with Kobayashi, a design studio that offers custom-made arrangements, subscription services, floral art for events and window displays for businesses. Flower power, indeed. 197 NE 43rd St., Miami, 305.333.9181, kobayashiflorals.com
