After a brief hiatus, the city’s largest open-air food market returns this weekend on Sept. 28-29 after refreshing its space, and it’s bigger and better than ever.

Wynwood’s beloved open-air market is back and better than ever. This Saturday and Sunday from 12-8 p.m., guests can join Smorgasburg during its grand re-opening and indulge in its eclectic mix of global flavors, with 12 new vendors in addition to its 20 crowd-favorite eateries.
Chan Bai Mei will be offering guests unique Chinese street food dishes like its signaure tanghulu.
Among some of its newest additions include Chan Bai Mei, a unique Chinese street food vendor specializing in the viral sweet and sour tanghulu treat, in addition to Mediterranean spots like El Ammar, Focaccina, and so many more. Fan favorites like The Lazy Oyster, La Birrieria Tijuana, and Tio Paella will make their return, serving guests delicious dishes like noodles, birria tacos, halo-shaped churros and more.
At The Lazy Oyster, guests can indulge in fresh seafood like oysters and its tasty lobster roll.
"The break gave us the chance to focus on elevating the overall experience for our visitors. But most importantly, we’re excited to welcome new culinary talent that represents the rich diversity of Miami’s food culture,” said Gaston Becherano, owner of Smorgasburg Miami.

With an additional 12 new vendors, improvements to the facility, and exciting events, Smorgasburg Miami offers a vibrant, family-friendly space full of diverse culinary offerings and entertainment for all ages. This coming weekend, guests can look forward to several upgrades like more shaded areas for relaxing, new picnic tables for indulging, and beautiful landscaping making the market even more comfortable for guests to enjoy some of Miami’s most creative culinary offerings.

To celebrate its re-opening, Smorgasburg will host live entertainment including DJs, traditional Latin dancers, a salsa class and a flower arrangement workshop. The highlight will be its best empanada competition, where local vendors will compete for the title showcasing the tastiest empanadas with a live tasting and judging panel.
