As the Jewish holiday approaches, Abbale Telavivian Kitchen has all the options, whether you’re choosing to spend Passover in the comfort of your own home or opting to get out for a family festivity.
Originating in Miami Beach's South of Fifth Neighborhood, this family-run restaurant combines the influences of two coastal cities, Miami and Tel Aviv. The casual yet chic atmosphere features a delicious family-style Seder in-house and a special dinner menu for those celebrating the holiday at home.
Passover dinner at Abbale will consist of a traditional Seder for the table and Haggadahs for each group to perform their own Seder. The meal will begin with chef Sam Gorenstein’s traditional family recipe, Sam’s matzah ball soup, and a Shuk salad with heirloom tomatoes, Persian cucumbers, radishes, Syrian olives, onions, toasted pita chips and lemon-sumac dressing. Shared salatim will also be provided for the table and include the restaurant’s most beloved small plates, charred baby carrots, roasted beets, fire-roasted onion tahini, muhammara and more.
Guests will have the option to choose from a variety of entrees, such as the roasted cauliflower and brussels sprouts or the Persian wagyu smoked brisket with pistachio and a spiced pomegranate glaze.
Those who want to spend Passover at home can also enjoy a delicious to-go menu created just for the holiday. Similar to the in-house dining menu, Abbale’s catering options feature specialty dishes such as puy lentils and pomegranate salad with tomato, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers and toasted almonds with a citrus-sumac dressing. End the dinner on a perfect note with a dark chocolate flourless cake and smiles all around.
Whether you celebrate Passover or don’t, Abbale Telavivian Kitchen welcomes everyone and is serving up your favorite dishes for any celebration all year long.
