After a quick success in Coconut Grove, AIDA Mexican Seafood expands to Fort Lauderdale, opening its second location.
“Our restaurant pays homage to Mexican and international cuisine through a combination of dishes and styles,” shares Eduardo Gavilan, the co-owner o Colibri 4 Restaurant Group. “Superior service paired with diverse dishes are pillars for us, and we want patrons to feel welcomed and intrigued by the mix of flavors we’ve crafted onto our menu.”

AIDA features an upscale Mexican seafood-inspired menu that takes its patrons on a culinary adventure, satisfying their gastronomic curiosity. The contemporary restaurant features an edgy and eclectic ambiance showcasing a beautiful mural of Mexican muse AIDA, created by Cuban American artist ABSTRK. Creative sun-shaped mirrors, various-shaped hanging light fixtures and a cherry blossom tree are also on display, paired with unique antiques such as mismatched credenzas for an eclectic and fun dining experience.
Restaurant-goers can experience an innovative menu that fixes traditional flavors with innovative techniques, creating classic Mexican seafood with an enticing twist. Signature dishes include whole red snapper served with a Mexican dry pepper talla sauce and topped with cilantro, corn-crusted Chilean seabass, big-eye tuna incorporated into a morita chile marinade and topped with cucumber and avocado and more delectable dishes such as the 2022 Golden Coconut award-winning ceviche verde de camaron . If guests have room after the savor main courses, sample the mouthwatering dessert menu, which features various Mexican-inspired sweets such as the apple crumb churro served with cold ice cream that melts under the heat of the fried good.
