One wellness/beauty tool you can’t live without?
I’m loving holi (oil) and holi (lift) right now; they’re my ultimate beauty duo. I love mixing them with my foundation to create a natural, hydrating finish.
Sunrise runs or sunset walks?
There’s something magical about sunrise walks. It’s the quietest part of the day, and being surrounded by that early morning light is so inspiring.
How do you find “balance” in your own life?
To me, balance is about alignment. It’s getting a good night’s sleep, taking care of my body with clean, healthy food, moving my body through workouts, cherishing moments with my loved ones and my dogs and feeling accomplished when I complete my work to-do list for the day.
What is the most underrated self-care ritual?
Sleep is the ultimate self-care ritual, and it’s so underrated. Quality sleep affects everything—your skin, mood, energy and ability to show up fully.
How would you sum up wellness in one word?
Happiness. At its core, wellness is about cultivating a joyful and fulfilling life.

What is your haircare must?
I am pretty active, so I get my hair wet every day to rinse off any sweat and hair product, and I wash it properly twice a week. Second-day hair looks better, and I’ve seen it with myself and most clients. You need the natural oils to moisturize the strands, and they also work as an anti-frizz.
What is one haircare myth you wish people would stop believing?
Cutting your hair makes it grow faster. Trimming removes split ends and makes hair look healthier, but it doesn’t speed growth. Hair growth happens at the scalp, so good nutrition, hydration, hair supplements, stress reduction and proper care grow hair.
What is your favorite Miami wellness destination to recharge?
The Standard Hotel and Spa Miami Beach. There’s a Turkish-style hammam, aroma steam room, hemlock sauna, ice room, Roman waterfall hot tub and more. I also love getting a massage and having a bite to eat while enjoying a sunset by the pool.
How do you find balance in your daily life?
I stopped doing house calls before or after work. I decided to keep work at work, and enjoy my mornings and evenings with family, friends or even by myself doing what I love: eating out, cooking at home, playing tennis or enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

What is your favorite way to recharge?
A weekend away in nature—especially in a quaint cabin in the mountains where I can hike and read two to three books.
Favorite spa treatment for a general reset?
I love a good massage! It’s a classic go-to that should be on everyone’s monthly self-care list.
How do you find “balance” in your own life?
It’s so important to take time off to do things you enjoy. Whether going for a walk with a friend, getting a massage or watching a TV show you love, you must take time daily to reset and recharge.
What are your wellness “musts”?
Lymphatic massages, Pilates, grounding with my feet in the sand on the beach, and getting eight-plus hours of sleep a night.
Your go-to healthy restaurant in Miami?
Planta! Give me all their vegan deliciousness!

One beauty gadget you can’t live without?
My Ice Roller. I designed it to be the ultimate tool for calming inflammation, reducing puffiness and tightening the skin. It also stimulates circulation.
What is the most underrated self-care ritual?
People often invest in other wellness practices but overlook the importance of sleep, it is crucial for overall balance, well-being and the proper functioning of your body, organs and especially your skin!
What’s the one beauty myth you wish people would stop believing?
That aging naturally is the only way to age gracefully. I believe aging gracefully is more about feeling confident and comfortable in your skin, regardless of the methods you choose to achieve, these are all about self-care and embracing what makes you feel your best.
How do you find “balance” in your own life?
Trying to achieve balance can be tough and is a bit of a myth that isn’t always worth chasing. I believe it is better to accept that there are seasons in your life that will be “unbalanced.” I find it healthier to accept that life’s a natural ebb and flow.
Three beauty-must haves for traveling?
My micellar water; it removes my makeup and skincare more efficiently.
Lip balm; keeping my lips healthy and hydrated while traveling is key. My go-to is the Biokiss from Biologique Recherche
High-quality SPF! A great option is the Solara Fortune Teller SPF. It’s formulated with peptides and always leaves my skin glowing on the go! All products are available at skinsavant.com
