Cheers to the launch of Spirited Sirens, a new series of educational seminars primarily geared towards women and artisanal imbibing. Jennifer Massolo, founder of Spirited Sirens, will debut the first edition of the tasting event series on Wednesday, March 13 with Beer, Bites & Babes. The one-hour, craft beer sampling session will be hosted at The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions a modern tavern, which celebrates American integrity, ingenuity and craftsmanship.
With a passion to spread her love and appreciation for hand-made spirits and beer, Massolo, will lead this casual gathering designed to bring women imbibers together. Amid tasting and talking, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the basic history of beer; the beer making process; the different varietals; how to use beer in making cocktails and how to pair beer with different dishes.
At a cost of $25 per person, guests can expect to sample four craft brews ranging from light to dark and beer styles ranging from pale ales to stout. Bites will also be served as a pairing for the specialty brews. The four flight tasting will begin at 7:00 p.m., but guests attending are invited to arrive as early as 6:30 pm for a welcome nibble and a cocktail.
