Miami celebrates four years as the voice of the city. As anniversaries go, four is rather anticlimactic. But that didn’t stop Miami from celebrating this milestone (and the 28 issues under our belt) with centennial-like fervor. The evening began on an intimate note with a dinner co-hosted by Baptist Executive Health at Gotham Steak. After a special Louis XIII toast post-dinner, the celebration moved to the Glimmer Ballroom of the Fontainebleau, where the headcount grew exponentially. Audi showed its support with a car exhibition, as did Scan Design, which provided seating lounges throughout the ballroom. As guests enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails and VOGA Italia wines, a performance by the Green Room, presented by Friends of the New World Symphony, showed attendees that classical music can rock when it wants to. As guests like Ken Gorin, Tara Solomon, Craig Robin and Phil Goldfarb moved from the ballroom to the outdoor terrace, good wishes and congratulations were plenty.
