The latest in the ever-expanding portfolio, Contessa centers itself around refined northern Italian cuisine. Combining the old-world sophistication reminiscent of the storied Italian villas and estates, Major Food Group brings this setting to life in the new two-story space, serving up mouthwatering cuisine, a vibrant wine menu and expertly crafted cocktails.

Delight in the rich tastes of northern Italy spanning decadent antipasti like the signature squash carpaccio; tongue-tantalizing signature pizzas; fresh pastas including the spicy lobster capellini or tortellini en brodo; as well as authentic meat, poultry and fish dishes that transport you straight to the breathtaking landscapes of the homeland.

To complement the cuisine, Major Food Group tapped The NoMad Hotel Group and Claridge’s London alum Nathan McCarley-O’Neill to serve as the bar director. Choosing from an extensive cocktail program, guests can indulge in traditional or modern-day libations that beautifully combine expert mixology craft and ingredients to round out the meal.
“Contessa Miami channels the singular sense of refinement and pleasure of those northern Italian meals we wish could go on forever, right in the heart of the Magic City,” shares Major Food Group co-founder Mario Carbone. “I can’t think of a more perfect location to bring this restaurant to life and to share with the people of Miami a menu dedicated to a rich and elegant region we’ve long hoped to celebrate.” 111 NE 40th St., Ste. 101 & 102, Miami, majorfood.com
