Crossing Borders

| February 26, 2015 | Parties National

Rum was on everyone’s minds at the opening and cocktail party for 24 Hours in Mexico, an exhibition featuring the photography of Seth Browarnik. But those who came expecting scenes of parties and celebrities were in for a surprise, as the images on display were all of the processing plants where Bacardi’s Facundo Collection (the brand’s first luxury rum) is made in Mexico. As Browarnik and Bacardi Brand Master David Cid led guests through the showcase and shared anecdotes from the trip, attendees were given a literal taste of what they were seeing as they sipped Facundo cocktails. “It was an experience I’ll never forget,” said Browarnik during a toast. “Now drink!” –‌Photography by Tyler Loy/World Red Eye
