It seems every day that passes brings another Related Group revelation. The latest? The company’s head, Jorge Pérez, recently unveiled his plans to enter into a collaboration with chef Michael Schwartz at Related’s upcoming properties, Paraiso Bay and One Paraiso, both of which will feature restaurants by the James Beard Award-winning toque. “We’re going to do something really special,” said Schwartz about the project. To celebrate the news, Related held a cocktail party at the Paraiso Bay site and then a dinner at Michael’s Genuine in the Design District to show folks what tastes they can expect when the plans come to fruition. –Photography by Alberto E.
