The Event
Let the art season begin! So went the unspoken mantra at the PĂ©rez Art Museum Miami Core Creative dinner party at the Cocoplum residence of Adam and Alexa Wolman, a gathering for members of PAMM’s elite group to mingle, fundraise and talk art... and Basel plans.
The Crowd
Among those making the rounds with cocktails in hand were event producer John Lin; PAMM Deputy Director for External Affairs Leann Standish; author Kristin Ducote; gallerist Nina Johnson-Milewski; artists Typoe, Cristina Lei Rodriguez and Agustina Woodgate; developer Jonathan Breene; jewelry designer Daniela Swaebe; and many others.
The Highlights
Gracious hosts that they are, the Wolmans opened their entire home for the occasion, allowing guests to wander freely and peruse their prolific collection of artworks (many by the artists in attendance) from the living room to the bedroom. Cheers and applause erupted when Capital Campaign director Timothy Walker addressed the audience, thanked everyone for coming and informed them about Core Creative’s recent successes in fundraising. As the party winded down, one thing was certain: Summer’s social slowdown was over! -Photos by World Red Eye
