Design Cues

| December 1, 2014 | Parties

Furniture showroom Artefacto kicked off its fourth annual Design House by welcoming nearly 1,000 guests to its 20,000-square-foot Coral Gables location for an evening of aesthetic inspiration. The evening had a Ladies of the House theme as a nod to the directive that each of the designers who participated in the showhouse were given, which was to create spaces with a Miami woman of influence in mind. Among the designers on hand to see their hard work celebrated were Luciana Fragali, Hernan Arriaga, Luciana Junqueira, Daniela Saliba, Marisol Pinto, Christina Hamoui, Fabio Morozini, and Cristina and Monica Souza. Each of the installations had a charity component, and the big moment of the evening came when it was announced that Artefacto owner Paulo Bacchi had made a $50,000 donation to be divided among the causes. Season’s givings, indeed. -Photography by Alberto Tamargo
