Dinner is Served!

| January 3, 2013 | Parties National

THE PARTY 2012’s culinary agenda didn’t leave much to be desired as foodie events took over the calendar with soirées big and small. A highlight among these was the Hidden Kitchen dinner hosted by Grey Goose Vodka and Slow Food Miami at the Bacardi headquarters in Coral Gables. THE CROWD Think gourmand. Think refined. Think hungry. As in chefs Hedy Goldsmith and Connor Hanlon, Bacardi heir Facundo Bacardi and a slew of foodies. THE SCENE The powers-that-be tapped chef Conor Hanlon of The Dutch and Grey Goose Master Mixologist Nick Mautone to create a farm-to-table feast to keep guests both socially lubricated and thoroughly satisfied. But before that, diners were treated to canapés and a neat tasting of various Grey Goose vodkas overseen by Jason Druckenmiller on the building’s veranda. After a multicourse dinner, pastry goddess Hedy Goldsmith handed guests autographed copies of her debut cookbook, Baking Out Loud, on their way out the door. Photography by World Red Eye
