Amid an air of anticipation and almost a year and a half hiatus, the culinary gem Eating House has officially reopened its doors to Giralda Ave. Nestled within the vibrant Coral Gables neighborhood, this hot spot features a discreetly cultivated menu by renowned chef Giorgio Rapicavoli, giving rise to a new modern industrial space.

Upon entering the highly acclaimed eatery, guests are welcomed to Eating House’s new era of refinement. From a sleek bar serving impressive wines and cocktails, the renovated space offers an elevated spin on its beloved dishes and amplified seating surrounded by white walls, lofty ceilings and a relaxed ambiance.
While testing the boundaries of its new menu creation, Eating House highlights its classic culinary influences while ingeniously incorporating locally and regionally sourced products. Guests can expect the new menu to brim with tantalizing creations of upscale comfort dishes with starters like the American caviar made with salt and vinegar tater tots and ‘everything’ crème fraiche, or the watermelon ‘caprese’ made with local burrata, Florida basil, mint and olive oil.
Saving room for the mouthwatering entrees, larger dishes consist of options like the grilled prime New York Strip with smoked olive oil, to bucatini carbonara with egg yolk, heritage bacon and black truffle. Bringing the evening to a delightful close, Eating House offers sweet plates, including a grown-up version of the infamous dirt cup with candied hazelnuts, dark chocolate, salted caramel hazelnut ice cream and vanilla.

“These changes represent the evolution of Eating House,” Rapicavoli notes. “We’ve grown up over the last decade, and we wanted our new menu and space to reflect that.”
