Nestled within the vibrant Coral Gables neighborhood, the recently reopened Eating House is taking guests on a gastronomic journey with its new tasting Miami menu.
Offering guests a creative take on dishes inspired by classic South Florida institutions defining the city, the prix fixe menu led by executive chef Giorgio Rapicavoli showcases seven inventive courses.
“The Tasting Miami Menu series is like my love letter to the city,” says Rapicavoli. “You see, Eating House isn’t just a place to grab a bite. It’s an experience that changes with the times while still holding onto the traditions that have made us a real staple in the Gables. What could be a better way to show some love for Miami’s food scene than putting my own spin on some of my all-time favorite dishes.”
Paying homage to some of Miami’s most iconic eateries while putting a modern spin on classics, the tasting menu’s nostalgic dishes offer a playful approach to Miami’s culinary roots. This month’s menu highlights include ‘the big cheese’ rigatoni, featuring garlic roll butter, parmigiano and breadcrumbs—and a smoked fish dip, a nod to the legendary Garcia’s. Additional flavors include smoked pork rolls, incorporating slow-cooked onions, cheddar and roasted garlic ranch.
Saving the best for last, guests are encouraged to delight in an iconic Cuban dessert inspired by El Brazo Fuerte, made with cream cheese mousse, vanilla-guava jam and a Cuban cracker cookie.
Available throughout November on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $59 per person, the delicious trip down memory lane offers locals and visitors alike the opportunity to taste the city’s history. Marking the second iteration of the dinner series, Eating House will work to feature future Miami tasting menus. To see what new menus are in store, visit EatingHouseMiami.com.
