The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater has been delivering top music, laughs, theater, dance and parties, to Miami for 75 years. Its history can be imagined in the feet that have crossed the restored terrazzo floors of the historic art deco building. The adaptable venue has seen the likes of Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Jay Z, Chelsea Handler and many more. Founded as an auditorium, this intimate music hub evolved to be television studios, a theater and a fully-fledged concert venue to accommodate 2000+ people. This larger concert format was inaugurated by Miami’s own pop star Ricky Martin. The Fillmore’s thriving success is partly due to this range of live show offerings, and to a 2007 investment into sound and lighting equipment to ensure the quality production celebrities require, among other upgrades. New operators, Live Nation, books major international talent, combining cutting-edge performances with the venue’s cultural mainstays.
