THE PARTY Cheers, indeed. Miami brought its Restaurant Issue to life with To Live & Dine, a celebration featuring the chefs and eateries showcased in the volume’s main feature. THE CROWD Can you say toque talent? Most of the chefs included in the edition—including the mighty Michelle Bernstein, whose Seagrape octopus a la plancha scored the cover—showed up to set up tasting stations with their most popular dishes, and guests like publicist Lauren Gnazzo, marketing legend Manny Machado and event planning master Yaniv Cohen were all too happy to sample the goods to their hearts’ desires. THE HIGHLIGHTS A VIP wine hour with Beringer kicked things off with style on the Moore Building’s third floor before tunes by DJ Saint Chill lured guests to the lower two floors of culinary decadence. “It’s so hard to pick a favorite,” said guest Joseph QuiƱones. “Diet be dammed!” –Photography by Brett Hufziger
