To start off the morning, head to SoHo-founded Sadelle’s, offering incredible bagels and sticky buns that were ranked one of the “Best Dishes of 2015” by The New York Times. Harper’s BAZAAR and Cosmopolitan have even named Sadelle’s an essential brunch destination; it remains an absolute must-visit spot to start a day in the Grove.

Nestled on the Biscayne Bay shore, visitors of the Barnacle State Park can view the oldest house still standing in Miami-Dade County for just a $2 entry fee. Home of Coconut Grove pioneer Robert Munroe, The Barnacle was built in 1891 and provides guests with a unique glimpse into life back then. The park offers outdoor concerts, Shakespeare in the park performances, and guided tours. The Barnacle remains a popular photo spot and wedding venue too.

Peacock Garden has remained a Coconut Grove staple for over 10 years and offers guests a peaceful and lush midday garden retreat. The indoor/outdoor dining space is surrounded by a massive oak tree, enchanting canopies and blooming orchids; it is widely recognized for its romantic setting. Peacock Garden is notable for its raw bar/seafood menu selections but offers comfort food classics too.

To best view the gorgeous waterside location that Coconut Grove is situated in, Peacock Park offers a perfect quaint pier that overlooks Biscayne Bay. The boardwalk is surrounded by mangroves and provides a view of the numerous sailboats that head out from the Coconut Grove Sailing Club next door. Free community yoga classes are sometimes offered here as well.

Found right in Peacock Park, Glass & Vine offers an intimate and beautiful outdoor setting to enjoy a plethora of cocktails, wines, and spirits in. Guests can visit during their Happy Hour, which is from 3-6 P.M. on weekdays. This Grove Bay Hospitality Group restaurant offers dishes like catch-of-the-day ceviche and local mahi for those craving a bite to eat along with their drinks as well.

Michelin Star Restaurant Ariete by Chef Michael Beltran offers a renowned menu consisting of New American dishes that feature strong Cuban influences. The ever-changing menu depends both on seasonality and Beltran’s imagination. Indoor and outdoor seating are available, as well as an intimate setting below the restaurant dubbed “The Cave” for private events.
