Giving back to the community is the perfect way to start your February. On February 5, Kula For Karma is excited to put on the Mindful in Miami with Om & Vine event.
Kula For Karma is a non-profit organization that brings together yoga, meditation and stress management to individuals struggling with mental health, trauma and addiction. The organization has been a pivotal element of many programs in hospitals, schools, treatment centers and homeless youth and crisis centers, since 2007.
The Kula For Karma Mindful in Miami with Om & Vine event will help support first responders, during this unprecedented time. The Miami event is in collaboration with Om & Vine Studio, where attendees will gather the day of. For those looking to still attend the event but unable to make it in person, there will be a fully virtual version.
Attendees will take part in a 60-minute guided yoga class, with Miami-based instructor Natali Melani. Following the yoga class, there will be an opportunity to indulge brunch, live music, immunity shots and a variety of fun raffle items from local businesses.
Tickets for the in-person event, which includes brunch are priced at $75, and those looking to participate virtually can purchase a ticket for $25.
This event is all about raising funds and awareness for local first responders and has a variety of ways to get involved. Sponsor options include Platinum Sponsor at $1,000, Gold Sponsor at $500 and Silver Sponsor at $250.
The official event page expresses that the Mindful in Miami with Om & Vine has a goal of $6,500, which will support front-line workers in both the Miami community and New York.
