Now part of the ever-growing third floor of Bal Harbour Shops, the new Lalique boutique at the retail center ushers in a new chapter of modernization for the brand that nods to convenience and safe shopping. That includes services such as virtual consultations, personalized client appointments, home visits and bespoke interior design. At the store, a showroom with OLED screen technology allows shoppers to visualize Lalique interiors in various environments. “The Lalique Bal Harbour store is the genesis of a new brand identity [that also] maintains a resonance of tradition and legacy,” says The Prestige Group’s Julien Legeard in regard to the shop’s interior design. “Most of the incorporated materials were customized to the project; the floor has a light French limestone, the walls feature a Marmorino finish and floating shelves with a blackened patina steel, and the central display reflects a cracked stone with a custom metalized finish surface.” On said display are Lalique products across all homeware categories, including decor, lighting and dining from collections such as the new Gaïa and others. Selections of jewelry and fragrance bottles and limited-edition artworks by Damien Hirst, Arik Levy and Elizabeth de Portzamparc are also for sale. “This new boutique showcases the house of Lalique in its totality,” says North America CEO James Mun. “The location is an opportunity to continue sharing our French brand history with our U.S. clientele.” 9700 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour, 305.537.5150, lalique.com
