Let There Be Light

| March 15, 2013 | Parties National

THE OCCASION The Wolfsonian Visionaries group brought light to the Moore Building for its annual fundraising event, The Art of Illumination, which coincided with the museum’s own 17th anniversary celebration. THE GUESTS Wolfsonian Director Cathy Leff welcomed the likes of Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Gongora, Adrienne Bon Haes, Susanne Birbragher and Iran Issa Khan. THE SCENE The vibe of the party was marked by the ingenious LED light installations throughout the space, which were auctioned off through a silent auction. A pop-up museum featured novelty items for sale and the highlight of the evening was a performance by the Dance NOW! troupe inspired by art, architecture and the idea of illumination.
