Returning for its 13th annual holiday toy drive and meal distribution, The Little Lighthouse Foundation is spreading cheer this holiday season. The local non-profit organization, which was founded in 2010 and works to serve underserved South Florida youth, has partnered with legendary toy company Hasbro for this year’s event on Dec. 17.
Serving more than 3,000 children and their families, the highly anticipated South Florida event is set to bring a winter wonderland to the North Shore Youth Center. Featuring life-sized snowglobes, arts and crafts stations, photos with Santa Clause and a giant Christmas tree, children will have the opportunity to experience holiday magic this upcoming weekend.
Serving the South Florida community for 14 years, the Little Lighthouse Foundation is also asking for volunteers who will help source through donations while also preparing meal boxes for underserved children and families in the community.
