The LOOP is back to hosting its bi-monthly “Sunday by The Shore,” but this upcoming Sunday is different. Amid the recent impact of Hurricane Ian that hit Southwest Florida, South Carolina, Cuba and other South East regions, many are trying to recover from the aftermath.

Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian, multiple relief organizations and locals are working together to provide supplies, support and safety. The Las Olas Oceanside Park is one of the many aiming to help those affected during its “Sunday by The Shore.” The LOOP is dedicating this Sunday to an all-day hurricane supply drive, including a free concert from Krush Party Band. In an effort to gather the community, locals are able to stop by and lend a helping hand.
Those attending the benefit are encouraged to bring any baby and children supplies, clothing articles for any age and emergency supplies, including First Aid. Additional products accepted at the benefit include paper products, pet supplies, home goods and small housewares and possible repair items
LOOP’s supporter OTC4Me.com will also provide personal hygiene and cleaning supply care packages for sale with personalized letters attached to each one. Arrangements have been made to transport items to those hardest hit on the West Coast of Florida through a partnership with Fort Lauderdale Ice.
