Louis Vuitton X UNICEF has joined forces and is celebrating the launch of its first #MakeAPromiseDay!
In 2016, Louis Vuitton partnered with UNICEF to support the world’s most vulnerable children around the world. The aim of this global partnership is to raise funds for UNICEF and help support children that are exposed to conflicts, diseases, natural disasters and other situations that threaten their safety and well-being. Within a year, $2.5 million was raised to contribute to the life-saving provision of water for $4.5 million children and their families.
One year after the launch of its global partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Louis Vuitton launches its first #makeapromise day on January 12th 2017 to raise funds for children in urgent need through its global network of stores. During this day, in 460 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide in more than 60 countries, 12,000 Louis Vuitton Client Advisors will act as special advocates of the “LOUIS VUITTON for UNICEF” partnership and promote the sales of the Silver Lockit: a product specially designed to raise funds for UNICEF. On this occasion, Louis Vuitton Miami Design District Store will be hosting an event and invites our community to join the movement to #makeapromise for children in urgent need.
