Bay scallop crudo from Lure Fishbar’s temporary menu celebrating the restaurant’s fifth anniversary
Lure Fishbar is commemorating its fifth anniversary in South Beach with some New York flavor. In honor of the occasion, the seafood brasserie is offering diners a special menu featuring standout dishes from its original location in Manhattan. The From SoHo to SoBe experience includes selections such as bay scallop crudo with jicama, green apple, jalapeno and lime vinaigrette and lobster croutons atop toasted sourdough for appetizers; and entrees such as the 10-ounce filet mignon, a 2-pound whole lobster stuffed with Dungeness crab and a pan-roasted striped bass. Of course, no birthday party would be complete without drinks, so chef Josh Capon opted for three new-to-Miami cocktails, such as the Journey Into Night, a mix of Bulleit rye, Carpano Antica and Fernet Branca. The menu will be available through July 31. Loews Miami Beach Hotel, 1601 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.695.4550, lurefishbar.com
