Mad Musings

| February 4, 2014 | Parties

When Pharrell Williams is in the house, a good time inevitably follows. Such was most definitely the case at the Basel shindig hosted by Craig Robins, Samsung HD TV and Paris’ Silencio, a private club with a cultural slant. Taking over the Rooftop Garden at the Moore Building, the party featured a selection of music selected by Williams set to videos chosen by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The celebration really hit its stride when Williams took the microphone for a surprise performance of his new song, “Happy.” Long after midnight, the music producer led guests in a conga line, proving that staying out late on a school night sometimes has its rewards. –Photos by Angela Pham/BFANYC.com
