On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, the internationally renowned citrus liqueur Mandarine Napoléon hosted an exclusive event for its official U.S. launch at the highly acclaimed Soho Beach House. “The Hat is Back” themed event suggested that all guests don their favorite head attire. The invite-only affair, which attracted more than 300 guests consisting of an elite mix of Miami’s finest, was preceded by an intimate 50-person dinner. The entertainment included a “Human Hamster” performance, a contortionist who created a visual spectacle in a clear, inflatable sphere, in the private member’s club’s pool; an interactive photo booth with a green screen that allowed guests to choose their own backgrounds; and an accompanying “hat shop” where attendees chose from a number of iconic hats to wear in their photos.
