The Bass Museum of Art was once again transformed into an elegant scene in honor of the Bass Ball. Transformed into a 1970s-inspired celebration of art and philanthropy, the black-tie soiree honored artists Rachel Feinstein and assume vivid astro focus, whose work, reflecting themes of identity and body politics, inspired the event’s theme, “Discothèque.”
Guests stepped into the event, designed by Alejandro Muguerza, and were immersed in a vibrant atmosphere where art and performance came together. Comedian, singer and legacy drag performer Tiffany Fantasia entertained guests in a performance curated by the assume vivid astro focus art collective—soon following fine dining by Le Basque, with wine pairings by Dry Farm Wines and cocktails courtesy of Maestro Dobel Tequila. With surprise performances by Canadian disco band Lime, guests enjoyed a seamless blend of art, music and fine dining.
All proceeds from The Bass Ball benefit The Bass’s Creativity in the Community programs and its exhibitions, supporting the museum’s mission to inspire and engage through art. 2100 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, www.thebass.org
