While collaborations are nothing new in the culinary world, MATADOR ROOM’s HER KITCHEN is the restaurant’s first female partnership series, bringing together leading women in the food and beverage community.
“We’re thrilled to launch the HER KITCHEN series, bringing together some of the greatest culinary minds and giving women in the industry a seat at the table, exploring our collective passion for breaking barriers and curating one-of-a-kind experiences,” said chef Lateisha Wilson.
As the culinary mind behind Chicago’s famed Girl & The Goat, Little Goat, Duck Duck Goat and Cabra, chef Stephanie Izard is considered one of the most decorated female chefs ever. The winner of James Beard’s “Best Chef: Great Lakes,” Food & Wines’ “Best New Chef,” and the 2017 champion of Iron Chef,” chef Izard is bringing her ingredient-focused take on Spanish, Caribbean and South American flavors for the one-night pop-up.
Serving unique libations created by Laura Newman, the 2018 World Class U.S. Bartender of the Year, and MATADOR BAR’s Alexa Delgado, recently ranked in the Top 50 U.S. Bartenders, the epicurean adventure merges sensations drinks with Izard’s culinary creations.
Working to break barriers and pioneer Miami’s hospitality scene, Miami Beach EDITION is creating spaces for women in the food and beverage industry. Tickets start at $250 per person and can be purchased here. 2901 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, May 7th at 6 p.m.
