Miami Children’s Museum and Pura Vida Miami are joining forces to create a monthly series of cooking classes that serve as family-friendly activities while educating families about the importance of healthy eating.
The collaboration between the museum and premier health-conscious and wellness lifestyle brand invites children to learn and enjoy as they cook with their families. Each session will offer a different theme inspired by different cultures worldwide, including Native American, Israeli and Canadian cuisine and even a special Halloween-inspired class.
This month’s class, offered Sept. 14 and Sept. 15, honors Hispanic Heritage Month. Participants can expect to learn how to make dishes such as the quesadilla. Using quality ingredients, each dish combines nutritional education with a fun, interactive environment to celebrate a healthy lifestyle.
