These South Florida Restaurants Are Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, a time to spread awareness and honor those who have been affected by cancer. If you’re looking to give back while you’re out and about, check out these local South Florida favorites. From baked goods to artisanal wine and cocktails, the hospitality industry is doing its part to spread awareness. Here are seven South Florida restaurants donating to various charities in honor of this month.

ATIAN Rose Gin & Dolphins Challenge Cancer

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, ATIAN Rose Gin will partner with Dolphins Challenge Cancer. Throughout October, people can support the cause at various South Florida’s favorite bars and restaurants, with each brand donating $1 for every cocktail sold. ATIAN will also donate $3 for each bottle purchased online, with shipping available to 40 states. All funds raised will go toward the Dolphins Challenge Cancer, with 100% supporting cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. atianmovement.com

Throughout October, PIE co. will offer a specialty Breast Cancer Awareness cocktail, courage, in partnership with the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. The Salty Donut will be offering specialty donuts at all six locations in partnership with The Breasties throughout October. The Breasties is the first all-inclusive organization that creates a community for those individuals affected by breast and gynecologic cancers. Guests can indulge in the strawberries and cream special, which includes a 24-hour brioche bottom crusted in decadent white chocolate and strawberry cookie crumble, all topped with a strawberry cream cheese glaze and white chocolate drizzle. Toro Toro

Toro Toro is thinking pink throughout October. Throughout the month, the Intercontinental will feature the Pink La Bomba, a pink chocolate half-sphere filled with a delectable cream cheese mousse, dulce de leche, strawberry ice cream, fresh berries, cookie crumbles and vanilla berry sauce. Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop

Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Magic City’s favorite bakery will feature a rich cream cheese filling coated in crushed strawberry streusel this October. With locations in Wynwood, Coconut Grove and one on the way in Fort Lauderdale, Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop is thinking pink with their new specialty strawberry crunch cake. With six locations throughout South Florida, this French-Latin American artisanal deli and cafe will donate 10% of all croissant sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
