Tickets are now on sale for Miami Science Museum’s Big Bang. This year’s black-tie-optional soiree is hosted by the museum’s next generation of leaders, the Miami Science Museum Young Patrons. Big Bang offers a chance to mingle with some of Miami’s most enthusiastic young philanthropists while celebrating the next chapter in the museum’s history. This year’s Big Bang will also be the first time that the young professional focused event becomes a part of the Museum’s Galaxy Gala, which is also celebrating its 10th year. The traditional Gala will begin earlier that evening and at 10pm, the Gala site will convert, with the aid of special effects and lighting, into the party of the year, the BIG BANG.
Big Bang, graciously sponsored by Magic City Casino and chaired by Izzy Havenick, is sure to be one of the year’s most sought-after events, featuring music from DJ Mark Leventhal and cover band, Soul Survivors. The event also features a full open bar sponsored by Bacardi and edible swag sponsored by Azucar Bakery. Saks 5th Avenue is the official retail sponsor of this year’s Galaxy Gala and Big Bang, offering 5% of all registered credit card purchases during the month of February to benefit the Miami Science Museum. See store for details. With Miami’s ever-changing cityscape, right now all eyes are on the downtown waterfront corridor, soon to become Museum Park and the new home of The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science.
