Many were the highlights of this year’s Miami International Film Festival, which celebrated its 30th anniversary with its most ambitious program to date. Kicking things off a few days before was a special screening of Miami Rhapsody attended by the romantic comedy’s main star, Sarah Jessica Parker. All in all, 138 films from 41 countries made their U.S. debuts throughout the city. “I crashed right after it,” said Executive Director Jaie Laplante. “And the next day, I got up and went right back to work.” Photography courtesy of Miami-Dade College
