The arrival of MSC World America marks a significant milestone for the Swiss-Italian brand as it works to further its initiatives to increase its footprint in North America. Specifically designed for North American consumers, the ship seamlessly blends European design with American hospitality.
“As we build upon our offering in the North American market and help attract more international guests to the Caribbean, we are excited to bring our newest and most remarkable ship yet to Miami,” says Rubén A. Rodríguez, President of MSC Cruises USA.

The reimagined vessel takes cruising to the next level, designed with the consumer in mind. Each guest can customize their experience through targeted districts to meet their holiday desires. Complete with the outdoor World Promenade, guests can enjoy unique dining, lounging and entertainment options. Among the other luxuries, the ship features 2614 cabins, 22 decks and 19 restaurants, two new concepts, and ship staples Butchers Cut, Kaito Sushi and more. Among the new dining options is the Sports Bar and partnership with Eataly—the only one at sea.

With the customer at the heart of all activities and offerings, the new ship features localized spirits and wine selections and an integrated comedy club designed for families inside and outside the ship. The Harbour, within the Family Aventura district, includes a family-friendly outdoor waterpark, also home to the state-of-the-art Cliffhanger attraction, the only over-water swing ride at sea where guests can swing 169 feet over the side of the ship.
Also on board are the Comedy Club and ‘Dirty Dancing in Concert,’ which take quintessential scenes, songs, and dance steps to sea for the show.
The new MSC World America features the luxurious MSC Yacht Club for a more secluded and tailored experience. As the largest MSC Yacht Club in the fleet, the ship within a ship offers an oasis to travelers with every need taken care of.

“It’s such an honor to be MSC World America’s Godmother,” Barrymore shares. “I’ve had a lifelong passion for travel, which has always fueled my soul and left me with the most awesome memories.”
Complete with the traditional breaking of a Champagne bottle, MSC World America officially sets sail, preparing for its seven-day cruise itinerary, which alternates between the Eastern and Western Caribbean with stops in Puerto Plata, San Juan, Costa Maya and Cozumel, Isla de Roatan, Honduras and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas.
