Natalie Pons is one of many business owners taking a chance on buzzy Coconut Grove with the opening of The Wardrobe & More, a new lifestyle store that touches on fashion, home accessories and comestibles. Located on the neighborhood’s pedestrian-only Fuller Street, the retailer is a continuation of Pons’ original Wardrobe concept, which opened in South Miami in 2015 and shift ed to an online model in March 2020 when the pandemic forced it to close its doors—a time that allowed Pons to rethink her approach.
“Cooking more, looking for unique ceramics and pottery for my tabletop, ordering coffee from Brooklyn and researching great books allowed me to refocus,” says Pons. “I decided I wanted to reconceptualize my business plan and expand the shop, and I knew I wanted to be in the Grove, which has a village feel about it.”

Reinvention meant a more curated mix of fashion, pottery, pantry items and artworks by local artists. A visit to the 700-square-foot shop reveals finds such as easy-style staples including denim, T-shirts, sweats, knitwear and dresses, as well as cozy throws, apothecary products, tomes on cooking, tinned fish and sardines from Spain, olives from Sicily and special-reserve olive oil from Liguria.
“The place has an interesting Tribeca-meets- Santa Barbara vibe,” says Pons. “I’m really excited about it.” 3098 Fuller St., Coconut Grove, 305.763.8662, thewardrobeandmore.com
