The night is New Year’s Eve. Fireworks are exploding, champagne glasses are clinking, cheers are echoing. And if you’re lucky, a midnight kiss may be exchanged. The only thing missing from this equation is the ultimate NYE party dinner destination that will provide the celebratory backdrop for such festivities—insert the below list. Since Miami has no shortage of over-the-top dining spots offering a delectable feast and fête in a singular package, it’s only expected that our restaurant scene is going all out this New Year’s Eve. Cheers to 2024 and all the fabulous new restaurant additions it’s bound to bring to our dynamic city.
The Design District’s pink-perfect Toronto implant is cooking up a glamorous “Dolce Vita” style Italian supper for stylish New Year’s Eve patrons. Opt for their second seating, four-course prix-fixe menu ($195) that includes a bottle of champagne for two and signature dishes such as the carpaccio di manzo with wagyu sirloin and the spicy lobster rigatoni alla vodka with Maine lobster. They’re also offering a limited a la carte menu during the earlier 5 p.m. seating if you’d prefer to tailor your dining experience.
Celebrate like royalty at Florida’s only two Michelin-star restaurant, L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. Expect a NYE six-course tasting menu on par with the Chef of the Century’s culinary prowess, showcasing some of Robuchon’s most prized dishes executed by his protégé Chef James Friedberg—fois gras royale, black truffle and chestnut ravioli, John Dory with a black truffle mousseline and filet of bison wrapped in laminated pastry are some of the highlights. Reservations can be made at 7 and 9:30 p.m. for $345 per guest.
It’s not New Year’s Eve in Miami without some Miami Vice-inspired debauchery, which is exactly what Klaw has in mind with its NYE theme this year. Edgewater’s only rooftop invites you to experience its New Year’s Eve prix-fixe menu in the downstairs dining room where you’ll enter a world of 80s glamour and neon lights, topped off by a champagne toast. Or, for a separate ticket, join the Miami Vice party upstairs once the clock strikes midnight and enjoy DJ entertainment, a carving station and open bar with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay.
Deck out in a diamond drip for Marion’s “Dancing in Diamonds” NYE celebration, a night fit for the stars. The Mr. Hospitality supper club icon will transform the space into dazzling decadence with diamond-clad performers weaving through tables all night, as you feast on delicacies like the black truffle pizzeta, Kaluga caviar, deluxe sushi and sashimi platters, Nebraska prime ribeye and truffle mac and cheese. This is Marion’s Thursday night dinner party on steroids.
Take a dip underwater to discover Sexy Fish’s “Sirens of Midnight” NYE extravaganza, a mystical journey that merges siren mermaids with the midnight sea. Guests will be transported to an aquatic kingdom where ocean-inspired cocktails, flowing champagne, a tantalizing tasting menu, a special guest DJ performance and electric party energy await.
Celebrity magnet Zuma Miami has some of the best seats in town for an up-close viewing of a magnificent fireworks show over the Miami River, accompanied by a live DJ and theatrical performers. Diners can choose from two specialty New Year’s Eve tasting menus at two separate seatings, the first starting at $250 per person and the second starting at $350 per person. Raise your complimentary glasses of champagne because tonight is going to be one to remember (or not).
Ladies and gents, it’s time to hit the ultimate Moulin Rouge-themed dinner party at everyone’s favorite French-Mediterranean clubstaurant. Expect sultry cabaret-style performances and a glammed clientele downing top-shelf champagne and bone-in ribeye in royal blue banquettes. Corporate Executive Chef Rocco Seminara and Executive Chef Jimmy de Almeida will be taking care of the menu as you dance the night away.
SLS South Beach is the place to be on New Year’s Eve, boasting decadent tasting menus and full a la carte menus by award-winning Elcielo and Katsuya restaurants, followed by The Golden Age performance with Dutch DJ duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano at iconic pool party spot Hyde Beach. Both restaurants are offering two seating windows, early and late, with the option to purchase a discounted VIP Fast Pass Hyde Ticket that includes an open bar from 9 p.m. until midnight.
