To celebrate this year’s Olympics in Tokyo and its role as official timekeeper of the games since 1932, Omega set up a massive pool in the Design District’s Jungle Plaza complete with starting blocks and lane dividers like those at the swimming competitions. But don’t let your eyes deceive you. The “pool” was actually a life-size art installation that was part of Omega’s A Journey Through Time exhibit, a sensory experience that showcased the brand’s timekeeping heritage and also extended to the watchmaker’s boutique in the neighborhood.
