PhilanthroFest is a community event showcasing and celebrating South Florida philanthropic organizations, community resources and cultural arts. In order to ensure successful, on-going engagement with volunteers and donors, and to help organizations effectively carry out their mission while running a sustainable operation, participating organizations will be provided free social marketing tools as well as educational and financial training opportunities. PhilanthroFest is sponsored by the Knight Foundation and the Miami CRA; and supported by Mayor Tomas Regalado, the City of Miami and the Miami Foundation.

To create an annual community event where South Florida residents of all ages can learn about philanthropic organizations and community resources in a free, family friendly festival atmosphere while enjoying music, art, fashion, food and entertainment with the goal of increasing volunteerism, community engagement and donor investment. PhilanthroFest is a creative collaboration between Life is Art and Miami Crawls., which share years of event production, volunteer management, fundraising and marketing experience. By engaging community partners, PhilanthroFest will deliver a sustainable event that helps educate and support South Florida organizations and the community at large.
