From galas to humanitarian alliances spanning the continent, Miami has a handful of philanthropic events taking the city by storm this season.

PANAMERICAN BENEFIT GALA
The América Viva Alliance brings together 30 nonprofit organizations from eight different countries, benefiting the education of children of the Americas. The gala celebrates unity, inclusion and diversity among the nations, demonstrating the cultural and historical connections between the countries. The gala will use art and music as a social bridge, while featuring Paquito D’Rivera, the Miami Children’s Chorus, the América Viva Band and New Land Dance Company. BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
Heading into its 14th year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade faithfully hosts its annual black-tie Wild About Kids Gala, back in person at The Biltmore Hotel. Promising guests a night of dining, dancing and live entertainment, all proceeds will fund the club’s programming, which includes afterschool tutoring, social assistance, dance, arts and crafts, mentoring, athletic programs and more.
“It’s an honor to host our 14th annual Wild About Kids Gala at the stunning Biltmore Hotel, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in person,” says Alex Rodriguez-Roig, president of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.
The evening will feature a three-course meal, silent auction and a musical performance by Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s youth members. 27TH ANNUAL INTERCONTINENTAL MIAMI MAKE-A-WISH BALL
No event is more synonymous with philanthropy than the annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball. Heading into its 27th year, the ball serves as the social season kickoff. Raising more than $32 million, the Southern Florida chapter works to grant the life-changing wishes of critically ill children in the region. Drawing more than 900 guests, the star-studded night is full of scene-makers, philanthropists and real-world influencers.
This year, attendees can expect a new level of wow factor with the otherworldly Supernature-themed gala helmed by Shareef Malnik. Actress and filmmaker Gabrielle Anwar will return as celebrity MC for the ball for the 11th consecutive year. Complete with a high-energy red carpet, elaborate cocktail reception, silent auction followed by a multicourse dinner and dancing, those in attendance will experience a private hourlong performance by a global recording artist. The ball’s official afterparty is presented by E11EVEN Vodka and held at the InterContinental Miami, featuring a special music performance and full-feature fashion show.
