Becoming the fourth U.S. outpost, the esteemed New York City Chinese eatery RedFarm arrives in Miami.
Helmed by dim-sum master chef Joe Ng and father-son partners Jeffrey Chodorow and Zach Chodorow, RedFarm takes a modern approach for customers to enjoy celebratory Chinese dishes made with seasonal ingredients.
After quickly gaining recognition in NYC for its unique and versatile dining experience, RedFarm’s South Florida location offers signature dishes such as PacMan shrimp dumplings, Ed’s pastrami egg rolls and hot and sour soup made to order. Other menu highlights include the coveted marinated Creekstone Steak and RedFarm’s signature Peking Duck. Made with carefully selected ingredients, RedFarm brings a green market sensibility to Chinese cuisine by practicing conscious product sourcing.
Taking inspiration from Miami’s iconic vibrancy, the 7,000-square-foot space designed by global design firm, CRÈME, blends modern-rustic decor with the Magic City’s bold spirit. The dining destination features various details to capture the essence of Miami, such as neon accents alongside vibrant wallpaper, Cuban-style wooden ceiling details and elegant Art Deco mirrors. The main dining rooms are equipped with large banquet-style tables with lazy susans as centerpieces for sharing. The restaurant also offers two private dining rooms for events.
Complete with a world-class bar for those who wish to enjoy a drink before and during their dim-sum experience, guests can enjoy various signature cocktails such as tequila-based The Club Hot and El Sabio, a house rendition of a Moscow Mule coined Native Highball; and RedFarm’s own take on an espresso martini and more.
Developed by Miami native Jeffrey Chodorow, the operating partner shares that he always hoped to bring RedFarm to Miami.
“As a Miami native and resident, I always knew we would bring RedFarm here,” Chodorow shares. “As a child, I loved hanging out in the Grove, and since its rebirth under Federal Realty’s ownership, the neighborhood feel of the area fits perfectly with RedFarm’s ethos.”
Opened from Tuesday to Sunday, locals and visitors alike can enjoy a Chinese culinary trip without having to leave sunny Miami. 3131 Commodore Plaza Coconut Grove, @redfarm
